Middletown, NY- Each year, the Galleria at Crystal Run partners with more than a dozen local non-profit organizations throughout the calendar year, many of which during the important holiday shopping season. This year is especially important for community organizations facing greater needs than ever before. Fortunately, the Galleria at Crystal Run is providing critical support for these organizations beginning on Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2020, with many ways for guests to give back at the Galleria at Crystal Run in support of the following organizations:
- Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc: Every year, Galleria at Crystal Run guests make important contributions to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. “Holiday Tree of Life” in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one, who’s name is placed on an ornament and displayed in Center Court. Three 12-foot trees stand graciously at the Galleria at Crystal Run in between the center court staircase. For more information, visit hospiceoforange.com.
- Salvation Army: Visit the Angel Tree located at the Galleria at Crystal Run, in front of upper level JC Penney. Select your Angel(s) from the tree. Everything a child in need has requested is on the tag. Return your purchased items with your Angel tag back to the Galleria at Crystal Run Salvation Army Collection box, on or before Saturday, December 20th.
- Toys for Tots Program: The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during December, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. A Toys for Tots Drop Off Box can be found inside Urban Air, in the back of the food court next to the Mall Management Office and in Center Court on select dates.
- United Hospice: This year more than ever before, United Hospice recognizes the importance of continuing the annual Tree of Life celebration. This year they will be connecting virtually and remembering those special people in our life. Each Star on the tree located in the Galleria at Crystal Run food court will shine as a gentle reminder of those who have touched us in a special way.
