Middletown, NY- Each year, Galleria at Crystal Run partners with dozens of local non-profit organizations throughout the calendar year, many of which during the important holiday shopping season. This year is especially important for community organizations facing greater needs than ever before. Fortunately, Galleria at Crystal Run is providing critical support for these organizations with many ways for guests to give back at Galleria at Crystal Run in support of the following organizations:
- Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc: Every year, Galleria at Crystal Run guests make important contributions to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. “Holiday Tree of Life” in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one, whose name is placed on an ornament and displayed in Center Court. Three 12-foot trees stand graciously at the Galleria at Crystal Run in between the center court staircase. For more information, visit hospiceoforange.com.
- Salvation Army: Visit the Angel Tree located at the Galleria at Crystal Run, in front of upper-level JC Penney. Select your Angel(s) from the tree. Everything a child in need has requested is on the tag. Return your purchased items with your Angel tag back to the Galleria at Crystal Run Salvation Army Collection box, on or before Saturday, December 17th.
- Inspire Foundation Pajama Drive: We are so happy to be partnering with Inspire – Orange County Cerebral Palsy Association for their 15th Annual Pajama Drive! Did you know that there are children right in our community that have never had their own pair of pajamas. Inspire distributes all pajamas collected to inspire, HONOR Ehg, Fearless!, Cornerstone Family Healthcare, Boys & Girls Club and more! New pajamas of all sizes can be dropped off at our drop-off box on the upper level in front of JC Penney until 1/31. Together we can make a difference!
- Town of Wallkill Friendly Visitor Program: Volunteers will pick-up food collected at Galleria at Crystal Run and deliver it to local neighbors in need. Community members that are interested in donating non-perishable food items can find a food collection box at Galleria at Crystal Run lower level mall entrance near Macy’s.
“We are honored to be able to partner with our local non-profit organizations and help raise awareness and support their mission,” said Karla Leon, Marketing Director at the Galleria at Crystal Run. “Giving back to our community each year is important to us, our tenants and guests and we believe it is part of what makes our center such an important community partner.”
