Middletown, NY – The Galleria at Crystal Run has hired Karla Leon as its new Director of Marketing. She is responsible for overseeing the Galleria at Crystal Run’s public relations, on-site events, social media, community engagement, website, advertising and marketing strategies.
“Leon is a strategic hire for us as we focus on the future growth of the center and our continued promise to deliver a superior guest experience. She brings a terrific background in marketing and public relations to her new role and we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team,” said Eric Price, General Manager, Galleria at Crystal Run.
Leon’s immediate focus this year will be continuing to drive awareness, out-of-market visitation and tourism to the center using traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies. “I have been shopping at the Galleria at Crystal Run all my life,” said Leon. “I am so excited to be a part of the innovative team at the Galleria at Crystal Run and look forward to bringing new and effective marketing strategies while working side by side with merchants and the community.”
Leon most recently served as Marketing Coordinator for Inspire, where she implemented marketing, special events, advertising and public relations initiatives to raise awareness of the organization’s mission. While at Inspire, Leon also managed Inspire’s digital media channels and launched their latest rebranding campaign.
Leon graduated from Monticello High School and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY. She is active in giving back to her community. She resides in Monticello, New York, with her family.
